Kashmir Ladakh Line of Control Tour Duration : 10 Nights / 11 Days Destination : Srinagar – Kargil – Lamayuru – Leh – Nubra – Tyakshi – Hunder – Turtuk – Pangong – Nyoma – Tsomoriri – Sarchu – Manali

Day 01 : Leh
Arrival at Leh airport, to be received by our representative and transferred to the Hotel.
Check in to the Hotel for a Complete day of rest wherein welcome tea and coffee will be served by the Hotel.

Day 02 : Leh Sightseeing
After breakfast drive for full day sightseeing, Hemis Monastery, Thiksay Monastery , Shey Palace & 3 Idiot School after Evening visit to Shanti Stupa.
After sightseeing back to Hotel and overnight stay at Hotel.
Hemis Monastery is a Himalayan Buddhist monastery of the Drukpa Lineage, in Hemis, Ladakh, India. Situated 45 km from Leh, it was re-established in 1672 by the Ladakhi king Sengge Namgyal.
Thiksey Monastery is a convenient 45min drive from Leh – the main city in Ladakh. There is good choice of accommodation available in Leh . Alternatively, one can stay at the excellent Chamba Hotel at the base of Thiksey monastery and run by the Monastery. Chamba Hotel has traditional Ladakhi architecture.

Day 03 : Leh to Nubra via Khardungla Pass – Hunder (120 Km / 4 – 5 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley, also known as Valley of flowers via Khardungla, the highest Motorable road in the World, (18,380 ft).
Visit to Diskit Monastery after drive to Hunder. On your arrival in Hunder check in the camp.
After enjoying lunch proceed to enjoy walk on the banks of Shayok river, you can also enjoy a ride on double humped camel on the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village. Overnight stay in Hunder.

Day 04 : Hunder – Turtuk – Hunder ( Approx 2 -3 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Turtuk (which is first time opened for the tourist in 2010) which is a place Annexed by India only after the 1971 war, the village of Turtuk is one of the only Balti villages in India and lies right next to the LOC. The village with the whole population of muslims still resembles mini Pakistan. The village’s inhabitants still use traditional utensils which are crafted from stone. Explore the village of Turtuk the village offers views of beautiful valley, part of Shyok Valley. On clear days you can have glimpse of K2 mountain peak located across the border in Pakistan. Though a muslim village, there are few gompas located on the plateau above Shyok River and there is a old royal house to see in village. Return to Hundar by the evening.
Overnight stay in Camp , Hunder

Day 05 : Hunder – Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok
After breakfast at hotel we drive to next destination pangong lake via Shyok and onto Tang Tse and Spangmik ( Pangong). It’s a short cut and it’s a beautiful route. The road follows the Shyok river, and climbs up a mountain before finally descending into Shayok village. It took us less than an hour to reach Shayok, and we were delighted at the sight of the rather big village surrounded by barren mountains, the entire setting being very picturesque. Afternoon we reach at Pangong lake and enjoy your day at pangong lake. Overnight stay at camp.

Day 06 : Pangong to Tsomoriri Lake 240 Kms / (Approx 7-8 hrs)
Morning after breakfast drive to Tsomoriri lake (14000 ft abov sea level) by passing Chumathang (Hot Spring) Along The Indus river. Tsomoriri Arr. 1600 Hrs. Afterwards take a walk around the Lake to enjoy the scenic beauty. O/N Korzok Village.

Day 07 : Tsomoriri Lake – Leh (Approx 6-7 hrs)
After breakfast drive back to Leh visiting Puga Sulphur Mine, Tsokar Lake and through Taklang La Pass (17585 ft) second highest motor able road in the world. and visit to Hemis Monastery ,Thiksay Monastery , Shey Monastery , 3 Idiot School after back to leh city and visit to shantistupa and leh palace. Evening free to explore the local markets of Leh. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Leh.

Day 08: Leh to Kargil (240 kms (7-8 hours) / Overnight stay in Kargil)
After Breakfast check out hotel and Drive to Chilling, along the River Zanskar, where begin our 28 km river rafting adventure! Enjoy the majestic views of the mountains around, along with the thrill of navigating past the rapids in the chilling waters of the Zanskar! Today also explore Magnetic Hill on route. also explore Lamayuru Monastery and Moonland before reaching Kargil, Evening check in Hotel and Overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 09 : Kargil to Srinagar via Drass 200 kms (7-8 hours) / Overnight stay at Srinagar (House Boat Dal Lake)
Leave early in the morning, stopping for tea at Drass, the second coldest place in the world. explore Kargil War Memorial and pay tribute to the soldiers. See the Tiger hill and Tololing point from here, where our brave soldiers defeated Pakistani troops. As cross over the amazing Zoji La – One of the most deadliest roads of India, enter the heavenly valley of Sonmarg. Continue the drive to Srinagar. Reach houseboat in the evening. Go for a shikara ride and shop at the floating market. Overnight stay in Houseboats.

Day 10 : Srinagar Local Sightseeing
This morning after breakfast proceed for city tour of Srinagar. The world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) & Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love), & The Chasme Shahi Garden, & Shankaracharya Temple. In the evening return to Houseboat / Hotel.
Overnight at Hotel or Houseboat.

Day 11 : Srinagar Departure
After breakfast check out hotel and transfer to Srinagar airport for your onward flight back home.
